Campaign

Picking only 6 Warlocks for my list building was difficult. My final decision will largely be affected by the unpainted models that I have. I find that I paint better if I am excited about a model and one good way to help me get excited about a model is to use it on the table and in building lists. Even tho we only get to pick six, we are able to use all the different incarnations of the Warlock with one exception, once a later version of the warlock is used the previous versions cannot be selected.

We have created a map of 10 total locations with different characteristics on each of them so the map changes and has an effect on each game.
****Exalted Valley****
All about magic zones and anti magic zones

****Alst Bay****
Swampland stuff, I better pack the rain boots.

****Alohr Tundra****
Frozen Wasteland, Blizzards/freezing models.

****Jakron Pillars****
-Lightning Rods
6 pillars are placed on the map 2d6+12” from each of 2 sides so long as they are not less than 3” apart each pillar is numbered as placed 1-6. At the start of each turn 2 dice are rolled and lightning is shot directly between the two numbers rolled.  Any bases crossed will take a POW 11 lightning dmg roll. If the same number is rolled then that pillar explodes and all models within 3” of the pillar take a Pow 14 Lightning dmg roll.
PS. The roller of the double’s has to say “Fried Chicken anyone?”
****Treclef Highlands****
2 words Active Volcano

****Red Tundra****
Desert! Sandstorms and quicksand.

****Kryss Timberland****
-Dense Forest
The entire map is forest. The forest is so thick Large based warrior models are not allowed. Large based Warbeasts gain the following penalties -1 Def  -2 Threshold and are agitated every activation (gain 1 Fury). While a model has the Hunter ability they can ignore forests when determining LOS.
****Srycal Flats****
Acid pools and Geysers.

Here are the ones I have decided to play. Not because I think they will lead me to absolute victory but because I want to be motivated to paint them and an easy way to do that is to lead them to battle against those who seek our destruction!

Madrak Ironhide                                                                   Absylonia
Grissel Bloodsong                                                                Kryssa
Horgle Ironstrike                                                                  Rhyas
Ragnor Skysplitter                                                                Fyanna
Hoarluk Doomshaper                                                          Thragosh
Jarl Skuld                                                                               Kallus

Well my brother has come up with his chosen 6 warlocks that he will be using to (are you thinking what i'm thinking) try and take over the world.

    1. Thanks for checking out the blog! I am always up for constructive criticism. I have not taken the time to list out all the specifics of the different areas, I figured I would spell out the rules and such, of the areas as we battled in the areas. Please expound on what you feel is missing so I can add it.
