Sons of Bragg

Sons of Bragg. First to explain more or less what a fell caller is. In battle if troll forces were overrun and started falling back the fell caller is a hero that sings in battle and they are normally equipped with a large torch to be seen easily. So, easy to see and easy to hear makes them a place where other troops could go to rally and fight back. In game terms they are support models that hand out buffs through their songs (calls) and help units of models. The Sons of Bragg are 3 legendary fell callers who also happen to be brothers. If that means brothers in arms or actual blood brothers I don't know. They have songs that they sing and unfortunately only help themselves with them. They each have a little different weapon load out so they can fill different jobs depending on what they need to do and I think they do that well. Here are all 3 of them together. Starting off with Wrathar, he is the one in charge here and carries a great sword that has a longer reach ...

Champion Hero

Trollkin Champion Hero! This Hero has seen good and bad days. Back when I first painted him a long, long time ago I did not paint his tabard because I was still in the middle of trying to figure out what color I really wanted them to be. Now that I finally have a color scheme picked out and he is currently part of my list I decided it is time to finish him. Over the years the rules on this model have changed a bit. (the ability to share damage between the unit) I am hoping to punish those that attempt to kill my champions. To try and increase the likelihood of them living I will be taking a Krielstone Bearer to increase their armor. If my memory serves me correctly I believe he used to grant some sort of (champs can see and move through other champs). Madrak 1 has an abilit...

Mauler

I have been taking the time to paint new front arc's on a lot of my older models and now that they have bases and front arc's ready I feel like they are finally ready to share with the world. This model has been through a lot. To start off the week that I got him painted he was out on my desk and my little 2 year old decided to climb up on the computer tower to reach him and then dropped him and since then he has had a few dings in his paint and a broken tooth. I did not glue the tooth in right away and now I cant even find the little thing so he has been without a tooth for a few years... I did take a little bit of red and clean up his hair since that is where most of the chipped paint was. Here he is! The Mauler is the reason I chose Trollbloods as a faction. I still remember talking to my older brother and him saying something along the lines of modeling/painting is going to be 80% of the hobby. He was right on the money I am sure I have spent lots more time gluing and ...
